General Information

The UDOO was released in late 2013 following a highly successful Kickstarter Campaign. The board was designed by a collaboration between SECO USA Inc., Aidilab, and a diverse team of researchers. The board is available in a double, and quad-core configuration.

The UDOO comes with an on-board computer (Frescal i.MX 6 ARM Cortex in Dual/Quad configuration) as well as on-board microcontroller (Atmel SAM3X8E ARM Cortex-M3 CPU) to control the GPIO pins. The UDOO is compatible with Linux and Android operating systems, giving you the ultimate platform for mobile physical computing.

The following image gives you an idea about the size of the UDOO quad (Arduino UNO board for comparison)
